Privacy Policy
Who this policy covers
Applyd is a UK-based job application workspace. This policy explains how Applyd handles personal data when you visit the website, create an account, use application workspaces, contact support, or choose to submit a success story.
Data we process
We process account details, authentication identifiers, profile and CV information, uploaded files, job workspace details, generated application material, chat messages, usage records, billing and subscription status, support messages, feedback, and success-story preferences.
How data is used
We use this data to provide and secure the product, generate the content you request, enforce plan limits, process subscriptions, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain operational logs, and improve the application journey.
AI and service providers
Applyd uses service providers for authentication, AI processing, payments, cloud hosting, private file storage, database hosting, email delivery, and operational monitoring. Data is shared only as needed to provide those services. Applyd does not sell your CV or application data.
Product analytics
Applyd records a limited set of first-party product events, such as completing onboarding, creating a workspace, or starting checkout. These records use internal user identifiers and short operational labels. They do not contain CV text, job descriptions, prompts, generated output, file contents, supplied job URLs, or authentication tokens. The current default retention period is 90 days.
Files, retention, and security
CV files are stored privately and are accessed through authenticated product flows. Operational logs are designed to omit application content and secrets. Account data is retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve security or billing issues. You can delete individual files and workspaces from the product.
Success stories
Sharing or downloading a success card does not give Applyd permission to publish it. A story is considered for publication only when you explicitly opt in. You choose whether attribution, company, or role details may be shown, and you can withdraw publication consent later in Settings.
Your controls and rights
Product settings provide an account data export and permanent account deletion path. You may also ask us to correct, access, restrict, or delete personal data, or object to certain processing where applicable. Some records may be retained where required by law or to establish and defend legal claims.
